So, what’s the hype about Microneedling?  First and foremost, it has become one of the most popular ways to get rid of unwanted wrinkles, fine-lines, and acne scars in the most non-invasive manner. Also known as collagen induction therapy, microneedling is a treatment that uses a small device with super-tiny needles that make tiny punctures to the top layer of your skin to create new collagen and elastin production. This new boost in collagen and elastin helps to smooth out the skin, thereby minimizing the appearance of wrinkles and pores without the need for injectables and fillers. It also allows for products to be absorbed more deeply into your skin. Think about it… When you bake a cake and want the icing to seep in,  wouldn’t you poke some tiny little holes and then pour it on? Your skin works the same way.

Dr. Green provides his clients with the most advanced technology available, and thrives on keeping his clients satisfied with their experience and results.  He offers two different microneedling options, the first of which is Vivace Microneedling with Radio Frequency.  This FDA-approved device delivers precise, deep and pain-free results using 36 insulated, gold-tip needles and a robotic controlled hand piece that creates fast and even insertions into the skin at highly exact depths. This, plus the even delivery of radio-frequency (RF), tightens skin and eliminates discomfort. The results are immediate, and improve over time with multiple treatments. The second treatment involves the Skinpen by Bellus Medical, another FDA-approved microneedling device. This type of collagen induction therapy is a rejuvenation procedure using a device with 14 sterile tiny needles that penetrate and create channels in the superficial layer of skin. Your body responds to the injury by sending healing fibroblasts to create a “collagen cascade” in the affected areas, filling in areas of scarring, wrinkles, and stretch marks. Both treatments are proven to be safe for all skin types and colors with virtually no downtime.
